Remote Area Medical is an invaluable service providing free medical treatment, dental care, and disaster relief! Per their website:
“Over the past 34 years, Remote Area Medical has provided free medical, dental, and vision care to hundreds of thousands of people through the operation of mobile medical clinics. RAM operates its clinics in communities large and small, both in the United States and abroad.
Every RAM clinic is free and open to the public. There are no qualifying questions and ID is not required. Unless otherwise noted, each clinic will open its parking lot area no later than 12:00 AM with numbered tickets being distributed at 3:00 AM. Clinic doors open at 6:00 AM. This process will repeat throughout the clinic days. In some situations, such as inclement weather, volunteer cancellations, or other circumstances outside of RAM’s control, ticketing may occur earlier than 3:00 AM. RAM encourages everyone who would like services, especially dental services, to arrive as early as possible. “

The Love Kitchen provides meals, clothing and emergency food packages to homebound, homeless and unemployed people of all races and faiths. We work with local agencies to provide meals, secure used clothing, and donate services in the hope of promoting the self-sufficiency of those we serve.
The organization has no paid staff. All donations go to those who need it most. Our goal is to provide nourishment for anyone who is hungry and to establish a community center to serve as a haven supporting area children and their families.
